The begining of the end.......

I have played DAoC almost since the Euro Launch, The good/bad ol days before DF, RAs and epic armour when a lvl 50 was a special thing.

Nowadays, every other character in the game is a lvl 50, and then they all have a BB sitting in the TK and have IP, purge and see hidden.

I remember when my lvl 40 infi could get rps in emain without being in a zerg.

I beleive that DAoC is reaching its sell by date.......Mythic need to come up with something that separates the lvl 50s, sumthing that can keep ppl playing.

I hear that there is a thing coming with ToA called "Master Levels" does any1 know what this is gonna be?

I've played DAoC since closed beta and I still love it ;)

Everyone has a different opinion at the end of the day. Find new places to bash, try a different realm, or a new character.

Make sure you have a good guild and I fail to see how you can get bored really when you're surrounded by a good bunch of people.

Even if we're not bashing, our guild chat is usually active with plenty of conversations going on.

my hunter can still get a few rp's in emain at lvl 46, with crappy equipment. That is with running solo (but usually not making a solo kill:p). You can off course help a group of albs defeat of hibs or other way around, so you "leech" of their rp's or run into a solo'er who aint to smart :). Allthough i would say lvl 40 is still a bit to low for emain.

Well in the end there isnt a single game that will entertain you forever so if u have played for more than 2 years its safe to say that u may have squuized the last drop of stufftodo out of the game.

When i got tired of Anarchy online there was no expansion/newitems that funcom could come up with to keep me intrested in the game i was fed up with the hole structure.

its not the game is getting boring, its jst too many ppl are reaching the top rung of the ladder. if u do /who and then /who 50 the lvl 50s will make up have those on the server. there needs to be sumwhere to go, sumthing to do after 50 (and dont say craft :p)

no1 knows about these "master levels" in ToA?

They wont ban buffbots purely because it makes them so much extra income from people having more than 1 account. Buffbots do suck though... its very hard to solo without a buffbot, very sad :(

And yeah I agree, DAOC does seem to be winding down... Bring back the good old days where at lvl20ish you could go to emain and kill people the same lvl, all with shit equipment and no RAs or SC kits :) The days where 2fgs would have a hard battle just against a patrol, and walking to emain itself was a challenge due to all the high lvl aggro mobs.
