Remember the bit in the Simpsons where Mr. Burns owns the casino? Well that whole scene is taking the piss out of the guy in the aviator.

Mr. Burns "I call it the Spruce Goose! it'll carry 170 people from new york to Paris in 15 minutes!"
Smithers "Thats a nice model Sir"
Mr Burns "Model? (pulls out a gun) Get in!"

That scene made me love the film even more!
