It has been awesome so far, the first 15 minutes of episode 1 was a total rollercoaster of shocks and suprises. About to watch episode 6 right now but so far the series is shaping up brilliantly.

Series one was very much a slow burn and as good as it became I don't think it was anywhere near up to the standards of the next 4 seasons. It really is worth trying again though if you can get hold of it, once you get hooked it is unmissable TV.

i imagine it will all be finished by around episode 10, then someone close to him will get themselves kidnapped to stretch it out for another 14 episodes. liked the first one, it got tired after that.

ROFL that hasn't happened since series 1 :p I know there was a little bit of that in series 2 for a couple of episodes as well but it was still a great year even with the 'Kym in peril yet again' nonsense for a couple of episodes. Series 3 onwards have been absolute class and 5 is shaping up very very well so far.

I tried 3 times to watch the first season. Bored me senseless. Predictable, dire acting, and plots so thin you can see through them. Not a fan.

I don't get T.V while at uni so relying on a friend to send me episodes and I just have one request...

No spoilers!

When the last season came out on Sky One my mum and I somehow managed to miss the first episode entirely and spent the rest of the time going "omg! change the channel! change the channel!" every time a 24 advert came up... 'twas worth it when I got the DVD boxset though.

Hehe, download your mum any missing episodes and burn them off to VCD, don't make her wait 6 months for the boxset you evil evil person! :D ;)

Yeah the first 15 minutes was a bit extreme but so far season 5 rocks so much.

The delayed gratification thing worked in the end though, we spent three days watching it and even my auntie Alison (who hates me calling her that but old habits die hard :p) got into it. This time around the delayed gratification thing is not going to work, however.

Bittorrent and Mininova are your friend should you miss any of the episodes on Sky next month ;)

I bought the 1-4 boxset from MVC before they went under, i intended to buy the 1-3 boxset, but they gave me the wrong one for the same price. Hope it wasn't me who made the company go under as a result of that :D

Though everyone knows that you shouldn't click on series threads if you don't like spoilers, i'd like to remind people on the tags [spioler] text here [/spioler] (with the spioler speeled spoiler ofcourse) so noone gets a bad day over clicking a topic when drunk/tired/after sexor.

Thank you.
