Imagine being a Newcastle fan depending on a Sunderland result to stay up. :(

"Are you watching, Newcastle?"

Probably not...

At least they were scoring goals to mask their shitty defending earlier in the season. Martinez can't set up a defense to save his life.

Feel sorry for Newcastle, completely and utterly Mike Ashley's fault.

Nah totally deserved, all the fans fault. It's what we get for being so unrealistic and expecting to win the league every season. </every non Newcastle fan.>

Arsenal had the full team in training for 5 days this season before the Ox went out for 2 months and now Welbz is down for 9 months. The curse is real.

Better than last season at least I would say.

They finished 11th last year. Mathematically 11th is the best they can get this year and they could even finish as bad as 16th yet, depending on results.

A couple (like a certain Dane) have said they were waiting for Poch to sign before they committed so hopefully...

To be fair he was never out for that long until he went to Arsenal. I know, I was surprised too.

Saw some statistic earlier stating he averaged something like 28 matches per season at Utd and just 10 at Arsenal

Yup you can see in his injury list that @Bahumat posted that he's been sidelined for huge swathes of each season he's played at Arsenal since joining and was rarely out for more than a couple of weeks at United.

There have been a number of players like that van persie was out a lot at arsenal. But for a few years was very consistent at man u. I wonder about their training practices
