As per usual I was away from my PC for the Chelsea goal, wife needed a hand.

Seems to happen pretty much every game at the moment.

I'm never really sure Martin Keown knows what he is talking about at times, I read his comments and they seem like perhaps we both watched a different game.

Shame time for the CL break I guess.

Why did Tottenham not even try? Did they just protected their first 11 from being embarrassed or what was that?

I think Spurs are thinking about the premiership more, they absolutely have to get 6 points from their next 2 games.

I would hope so, it's the only explanation for putting out such a weak team. You don't rest players against Dortmund when you've got fucking Villa at the weekend (no offense @Turamber).

Dortmund -> Villa -> Dortmund -> International break isn't it?
Feels like Spurs could've fielded a much tougher team, I was so looking forward to this game as a neutral :(

We have Bournemouth as well before the international break.

Yeah, Spurs fans were as well. It would've been a proper test but it looks like Poch is giving our core midfield players a ~2 week break to prepare for the Premier League run-in, which makes sense I suppose. It just sucks that we're sacrificing what could've been 2 excellent games for it. Alli was suspended last night for yellow card accumulation so he wouldn't have featured anyway but him and Eric Dier were seen (on Periscope) walking around central London on Wednesday while the official Spurs twitter account was tweeting pictures of the squad getting on a plane for Germany so Dier not being among them was the first red flag.

Here's hoping there's a sudden resurgence and they beat Leicester (and then go back to normal afterwards).

Said all week if we get a new manager I'm gonna hoy a tenner on us beating Leicester, even more confident now we have him. They have to slip up eventually!

We're going to be left with some serious blue balls if we go down though, first time in years we've had a top manager only for us to only have him for 10 games.

Looking at your fixtures I think he might just save you but there are some tough games.
