For the record, Walker apologised and vowed not to do it again after pretty much the same response from AVB as that which Wilshere got from Wenger. He didn't take to twitter with an idiotic picture of someone else inhaling N2O. It's called manning up and taking responsibility for your actions, something Wilshere doesn't seem to have got through his dense head.

Townsend apologised for diving last weekend, we're still waiting for Cazorla's (and Young etc etc) apology from last season for his dive...

As good a method of dispersing unruly types as this might seem, they actually all got on the escalator at once and the brakes gave up the ghost.

Escalator consultant here. The brake torque is set very low on that unit. The motor wasn't running so the only thing holding the steps was the brake. When an escalator is running, the drive controls the speed - the brake is not used except for cases of emergency (stop switch pressed, skirt switch tripped, etc). That's why it sped up as more people got on. When it unloads them all at the bottom, it will stop.
Many escalator brake torques are set low due to people hitting the stop switches on either end and falls occurring (If the torque is set high, the steps stop very quickly, throwing people). If they pull down the torque, the stops are more gradual.
