It'll be interesting to see if Hodgson has the stones to bring Forster in, he's the logical successor. Hart has really gone to shit, he just looks so flappy and shit. Zero confidence. Pellegrino needs to give him some competition at City otherwise he's never going to improve.

Imagine the media shitstorm it'd create, took them over a season of Hart being shit for them to finally stop making excuses for him. Seems like he's over confident to me, needs to pull his finger out and work his ass off and stop believing the hype generated from that season a few years back

Over-confidence is probably right, he's become complacent and it's really affected his game. You would've thought somebody (at City or the national team) would've had a word with him though, it's not like it's a new problem.

Same issue throughout the City team, soon as they're ahead they take their foot off the gas and get sloppy.

Torres out for three weeks so I don't suppose a 3 match ban would've really had an impact. Time for Moses to step up. Oh, no, wait. Time for Lukaku to shine. Oh, shit. Eto'o it is then.

Wait, you mean Chelsea bought another player they barely needed and ruined him? Surely not...

Lamela wasn't super-convincing tonight, hope some game time in the Prem will liven him up a bit. There were a lot of stray passes, although he started each half strongly and was generally better in the 2nd half until he came off.

Sagna has a hamstring injury... Oh, Arsenal.

It's worth pointing out that the Anzhi "home" pitch looked like a minefield, which goes a long way to explaining some apparently awful play (not just from Lamela).

Anyway, Lahm vs Navas from last night:

It's obviously not "Ledley King awesome" (as in the ground he made up, how far up the pitch they were and tackling like that in the penalty area) but it's not far off!

(because I can)

I can see his point, he should be injured by too much training, not the cigs.
