Dire from Villa, we have no plan other than counter attacking and kicking it as long as we can for big lads to jump for. Diabolical. Mind you the referee is shite.

Our reserves are so much more creative than our first team. Wanyama and Scheinderlein are top quality defensive mids but neither can pass the ball further than 5 yards. Wanyama is like Mikel except 1/10 times he'll attempt a forward pass rather than 1/50 times.

I thought he looked a bit crap but I'll give him a chance. I don't know if he's played a full 90 yet (CL last week?) but I bet he's been getting awful comfy on that bench. The more I watched him play tonight, the happier I was that we got Eriksen for considerably less than half the monies.

At the moment, Moses > Willian.

Holtby has looked proper sharp in the games he's been given so far. I think he's assisted all of Defoes goals. His pass for the first goal last night was Scholes like.

Holtby is a really impressive young player - I hope he still gets a chance to shine at Spurs despite the enlarged squad - if only he was english :(

There is talk Rogers will not play Bitter tonight. They think it is the wrong game for him to come back seeing as he is so hyped up. All it would take is a elbow from Evra and he might snap.

If only he wasn't capped by Germany... :(

I reckon he would consider the English call up now.

That is one of the worse Micky Mouse games I have watched. We were so mish mash today. The squad injuries have battered us. I was secretly thinking losing today would be a good thing, unless we start to get some luck injury wise this squad just showed the lack of depth it has :(

Wenger usually plays the unknown kids in this match, I thought they did pretty well considering?

I knew it looked bad. Cruciate knee ligament injury for van Ginkel, he could miss the rest of the season. I couldn't believe he tried to carry on playing after seeing the replays.

Slightly an aside but does anyone know how this affects a players income?

Do they get paid a straight salary or are there match fees?

Do they just get statutory sick pay or some enhanced deal?

Do they insure against loss of earnings?
