I don't even know what could've solved the Chelsea problem really. To be honest, we're having the Barcelona problem were people are just going out, putting 10 men behind the ball and hitting us hard on a counter.

This. 30m on Willan and then send Lukaku out on loan again. And here's the thing, their key transfer target was just about the most midfield-minded striker in the country (which is why poor Kagawa can't get a game). If Chelsea wanted a striker from United, they'd have been better off going for Hernandez with their current set-up; and they might even have got him.
