The table proves the scale and sadly shows what am impact Money has. Man U (pre American tossers) spent more than anyone else but it was not all debt. They have the world wide support and commercial income that allowed them to shatter transfer fees. It is the same with Liverpool and would be for us if we were not paying off the stadium. City and Chelsea have not had the gradual build up to be able to spend that kind of money they have just been handed it on a plate. That table kinda proves my point, Chelsea/City clearly at top then United/Liverpool are double of Spurs and Spurs 2-4 or more times than some of the other teams
I don't agree with that fully, Norwich were poor and all giggs did was ask the players to go for it, we still looked poor and against a better team wouldn't have done well.Proves that Moyes had lost the players they looked more up for that with Giggs than they ever did for Moyes. Player power
Think Eto'o's knee was said to only be a minor irritation so his absence is probably just precaution on his fitness, I'm guessing if Hazard travelled to Spain he must've been on the right track.
Good to see Van Ginkel back in the squad though after his ACL surgery near the beginning of the season
