Jebus, 31% possession, 5 shots. Did Chelsea just stick 11 men in their own box or something? Do all the panels fall off Maureen's car when he parks it after his rant about that sort of football earlier in the season?

Here we are, http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/25956108

Hardly the first time he's employed this tactic in a CL semi-final. Of course its also backfired badly in the past.

Making his excuses for Sunday already saying he will probably field a weakened team vs pool

Exactly my thinking. When they lose he can just fall back on his weakened side excuse or CL being more important.

To be fair there's nothing wrong with Mourinho setting his time up like that, he's try to win a football match after all. It's just super-fucking-hypocritical to moan about another team doing the exact same thing when you're on the other side of it.

Didn't bother watching.

Not gonna watch Sunday's match either. Going mountain biking in Wales instead. If we scrape through with a draw I'll be happy. If they spawn a goal (which is what Maureen plays for most weeks) then at least I'll be up a mountain having a lot more fun with more to look at :)
Haha look who's taking! You can pretty much seal the deal on Sunday and you're not even going to watch the match? Go on, let's hear some more about the United plastics!

I wonder if Maureen tries to play non-football on Sunday, would be funny if he set his team up for 19th century football and gets raped in the first 15 minutes.

Stag do. Here. < Unless you're suggesting I should bin off that glorious loveliness and a good friend's wishes just to sit in a pub and watch Chelski defend for 90 minutes?

Nothing's going to be sorted this weekend anyway. LFC will still have to win the last two games to clinch it and I've got a mate on Crystal Palace tickets for me and my brother in law is trying to sort me out his ill mate's season ticket for the Newcastle game - but if we're still in the hunt before the Newcastle game I'm off to Liverpool even if I can't get tickets (likely) - for a pub crawl starting outside the ground.

Plastic my arse m8 :p

Strangely enough, I'm now thinking that he's lulled us (to a boring death) with the Athletico game and is gonna go all-out attack on Sunday.

Oh. No. Perhaps not eh? ;)

Going to be some crazy transfer fees after the world cup, UTD, Arsenal and Chelsea needing to spend money, Shitty will probably throw another 200mil at bench warmers because that's their thing.

Bad timing to be out of the Champions League.

That is the opposite of what his owner had to say. They will have to spend what they get for winning nowhere near the £200m city and Chelsea can throw away. With Chelsea as desperate as us from a striker we might end up with Draxler and turning him into an Henry and not buying a striker.

My hope is if JT is out the team for Liverpool looks like this:

Azp - Cahill - Ivanovic - Cole

Luiz Matic

Hazard Willian Salah

Etoo

Would be great, big power with lots of pace.

Chelski can almost field two teams. Other than the lack of utterly fantastic strikers they've still got amazing quality. They're second in the league for a reason.

Maureen's whining on in the press about "resting players" is just more transparent bullshit from a guy who's disappeared so far up his own arse it's unbelieveable.

It's just putting Liverpool off, he won't field a weak side.

It isnt putting anyone off. It might have done before but now everyone sees through his feeble mind games, he just looks like an idiot.

I love that you all get so wound up by a guy saying a few words.

Just don't pay attention to him if you don't like him, it's not really difficult, you're the sort of people who click on an article with his name in it then comment OMG ANOTHER MOURINHO ARTICLE WHAT AN ASSHOLE.

Also, as I said previously im not worried, weekend game was 2 goals in under 15/20 minutes for Liverpool again, hardly ground breaking tactics putting high pressure on to try and seal the game off quickly.

I'm just excited to see what they do next season, i'll give them full props if they win the league when they play in all of the competitions rather than opt out. They've played some nice football so far, if they can continue that in Champions League games and come away with results then i'll believe Liverpool are 'back'.

Should really get yourself to the Newcastle game, I'm predicting a score well over 5-0 to your lot.

I'll wait until Sunday to see what he actually decides to put out to play against Liverpool, it could go either way. We know Cech and Terry won't be playing and he'll probably not play Hazard and Eto'o unless they are properly fit since I would want them for the return leg.

Why anyone would even theorize about Pep Guardiola switching BM out with MU is ridiculous!
I guess maybe if he found it all abit too easy and wanted a challange?

If we can get shot of Lerner and his cronies and get a decent owner in this season will have been worth it. Very good to see the best footballing team in the division looking like winning the Premier League. It is very boring seeing those clubs with all the money and their sense of entitlement march to the title each season ... particularly when one of them (Chelsea) plays some of the dullest football in the league and has undoubtedly the biggest asshole of a manager in the league.

Feeling sorry for poor old Orient in League One. With their paper thin squad they were never going to last the pace, particularly up against a Wolves team still receiving parachute payments from the Premier League. Makes a mockery of the idea of competition to be honest.

I see that well placed bait.

Hardly our fault we were shit for two years now is it.

If you think we bought the League then you'll notice our negative net spend and Peterborough (the other team who went down) having spent more then us, they spent £1,000,000 on Assombolonga and actually kept there squad together. We had to move on a whole squad and use the money from them to actually make a team.

Ok.. I bit :(.

If you get relegated from the Prem, and then straight away again from the Championship (lol Wolves), but then you go back up to the Championship do you still get the 3rd parachute payment? I know if you go back up to the Prem your payments stop but I don't know if they do if you go down the League 1 and back up again.

Good luck in the play-offs, don't think you'll do it however. Rotherham are arguably the best side I've seen all season and they should win it.

We get the full set.

None of it has been used for transfers, most of it was to subsidize the massive wages we still have/had to pay. Jamie O'Hara sitting in the reserves on 50k a week for example :D.

Real played a decent match. Their second half has been great, considering who they are paying. They've actually played football in as a massive contrast to Chelsea last night

And regarding Maureen and the press, he should just stop taking and give them a 'no comments'. That would stress the press and 'Pool wouldn't know what was coming

Anything can happen in the play-offs. I agree though, we've been playing shit lately.
