Yeah, coupled with the fact the England team are afraid of modern football they are hardly used properly anyway.

well if Liverpool's form continues the hodgson would be silly not to base his attack around sturridge and sterling with henderson and gerrard in support. swap Suarez for Rooney and Courtinho for Walcott or Ox and should be a pretty flowing attack. England's defence and GK are better than Liverpool's so if they have Liverpool's attacking momentum coupled with a defence that defends they might do ok for once.

Walcott will miss the tournament through injury. And all things being equal there are probably better form players that should go ahead of the Ox. But he will probably still go though.

Yeah ideally but you know what the England set up is like, it is highly unlikely they will deviate from the list of names.

Didnt do it Saturday..

Promotion feels great regardless of the division! :D.

Love this team, now to hope one of Villa or Albion drop down to greet our return.

That's football.. for every Dortmund please see Deportivo La Coruna, Valencia, Bayer Leverkusen, Lyon, Bordeaux.

Teams that have a moment in the sun always get pulled apart at a later date.

tbh I think dortmund were abit more than that. I'm well aware of the tendency of big teams to eat up smaller teams that have a bit of sucses.
you could well add Napoli to your list. But it's still seldom to see it at the level and with the same aggression and ferocity that we've witnessed in Dortmund's case.

I believe they will consider them this week and announce them at the beginning of May.

A number of teams have dodgy ways of clearing debt, even in the prem. I would like to see them sweep the axe really to show where the line is and to show they actually have some balls...unlikely though.

Huh?

"Jurgen Klopp has told Premier League big guns to forget about signing him until at least 2018 after penning a new contract at Borussia Dortmund.

The charismatic German, who led Dortmund to the Champions League final last year, has been interesting the likes of Chelsea and Manchester City in recent years, while he has also been tipped to succeed Arsene Wenger when the Frenchman eventually decides to step down as Arsenal manager.

However, Klopp has extinguished any hopes of a switch to England by committing his future to the Bundesliga club.

‘No one needs to call until 2018,’ Klopp said.

‘We feel a lot of extraordinary trust and confidence in this club. It’s a clear sign.

‘We want peace. Peace to plan the beautiful future of this club.’"

Don't know how beliveable Metro is but it is mentioned in quite a few papers?

I've always liked him and you've got to admire the man since it is unlikely any team other than Bayern Munich is going to win the Bundesliga due to the fact of having only one super power in the league.

Valencia was torn apart because of poor decisions.

"LOL let's build a new fucking huge stadium!"

With what money?

"Dunno LOL! Let's get started!"

Same thing could be about to happen to Atletico as well, halfway through a new stadium they really can't afford. May well also be the reason why they're struggling with the loan fee for Courtois for the CL Semi.

Klopp is being tied to Barca.

They don't have to pay that fee though. UEFA said no.

Yes, interesting how UEFA have piped up in this case, but when Celtic played Elfsborg when a Celtic player was on loan there, their stance was "none of our business".

I think there is every chance Courtois will play (although I'm not sure if I was him I would), but there is also every chance AM will pay up as well, either directly or with money off Costa in summer. The fee is enshrined in a legally binding contract, which if AM break Chelsea will have every right to take them to court for it. The noises coming out of AM suggest this won't happen, and some sort of agreement will be reached, but legally UEFA wouldn't have a leg to stand on in this case.

Bear in mind Chelsea have at no point said he can't play, far from it, so can't really be seen to be blocking it (in fact Gourlay an Buck have both said they won't). The only thing blocking it would be AM's inability to pay, which I don't see how that's Chelsea's issue really.

Klopp is coming to Arsenal. It was rumored last year and now Wenger is not signing a new contract. 2+2 = optimistic?
