As much as I think he is utterly useless on commentary Owen was right about neither side wanting to lose so neither went all out to win.

Man U went to the Emirates with a game plan. Completely crowd the space at the edge of the box where Arsenal like to make the small touch passes and flicks. They effectively parked the buss on the 18 yard line then tried to catch us on the break. The amount times you could count 8-9 Man U players vs 3-4 Arsenal in that area was the issue. Give them credit they worked hard to do it for 90 mins. Problem is we did not have a back up plan, how many crosses from the wings did we actually make - Sagna 3-4 decent ones with Gibbs maybe 2. Giroud missed two chances he should have taken, he's out of touch at the moment and Podolski would have been a better running at Rio/Vidic.

I don't think Arsenal really played our game and were nervous. You could see that in our failure to connect with passes in the final third. It is like we afford Utd the respect they beat out of us over the years but don't deserve this season. And why when it had not worked for 70 minutes and it was becoming obvious Giroud has his boots on the wrong feet did Big Nick nd Plod not come on. Plod has a shot like a cannon and might have got something from out side the area. Instead we kept crossing in to Vidic which he was happy to deal with.

Imagine if they win the CL and prevent Liverpool or Spurs from the 4th place spot? :ROFLMAO:

Totally agree but I think the reason we did not connect passes, especially around the box, was the overcrowding. They defended very well against the little one two's that Arsenal love to play in that area. Every time the ball was played into Giroud he had Vidic on his back and one either side looking to cut out the flicks.

The one plus was not conceding, three good saves but apart from that Szczeny did not have much to do. Just hope we can keep Sagna, not looking good though.

I think Sagna has been gone since last summer. We tried to tie him down but he said he wanted to try his luck elsewhere. Good luck to him tbh he is going about it in the right way and as long as he does not go to City I will be ok with it.

My brother and I signed Podolski on one of the Pro Evos many moons ago, due to his name and the fact his first touch (in the game) was well dodgy we decided the nickname of Paedo was appropriate. We pat ourselves on the back for ages for that one. It works on so many levels. :D

Our chants of "Paedo, Paedo, Paedo!" could be heard far and wide one Summers day when he scored a particularly important Champion's League goal one day.

Plod is probably better for polite society.

They have enough points (should do!) to avoid relegation, which is all the management want.

I think the fact the .gif stutters a bit mid jump makes a look a teeny bit worse, but that swan dive man, shameful.

Couldn't be more right. The losing streak is working perfectly toward us avoiding the pest that is Europe.

Mind games, he says he wants 4th when he obviously wants to win the prem.

Sometimes he is funny but other times he is just a caricature of himself.

Er, confusing appointment. He may as well have been appointed Cobblers manager. Decent manager, shit players, shit club.

I guess they think he is their best shot at staying up. The players are going to hate him, though.
