I wish everybody in the media would stfu tbh and just let them get on with it. It's not serving any purpose, all this constant hearsay and half-baked journalism.

If he goes, he goes (and we get a shit-ton of cash, which is sort of where I think it's going with all this money we've been spending). If he stays, he stays (and we keep one of the best players in Europe). Nothing concrete has been said but I've seen upwards of 20 stories in the last few days all claiming to know something new. There have been literally NO quotes (and certainly nothing relevant to this saga) apart from something from AVB that could've been injected into any story and all this arse-kissing bullshit from RM (who we have a close relationship with, apparently).

Word is that Soldado is coming to us but that's from the Spanish equivalent of the Mirror, so who knows. Apparently an agreement has been made and all that was standing in the way was a scumbag agent (surprise surprise). Apparently, that agent has backed down and Soldado is NOT on the flight for Valencia's US tour.

It was our lack of strikers due to injury that made us overly reliant on Bale last season - with a new decent striker I think we can do better than last season.

He isn't and isn't even valued at more than Ronaldo, it's just with the over inflation of transfer costs he is. If Ronaldo was sold in the current silly season he would probably be 100+ mil

Quite funny that just as UEFA are pretending to tighten up spending that clubs are paying massively over the odds for players.
