Unless Jamie Carragher is playing in midfield, it looks like 5-4-1, with Dirk Kuyt on his own up front. Not exactly ambitious. But I suppose those are cavalier tactics compared to the 9-0-1 formation that Reds boss Kenny Dalglish employed in the second half against Manchester City in the Carling Cup on Wednesday night.
