The Man United - Liverpool game at OT is going to be horrific. Sorry Ch3tan you are completely right, it was an unfortunate mistype. By royally fucked up the arse i meant a 50 game ban and a massive fine being at least 750k. There are so many comments from the BBC that an 8 game ban and 40k fan is the FA taking a real stand on racism. Absolute shit, banned until the end of Jan and maybe half a weeks wages? Limp dick response for someone charged with "racially abusing" another player. Petty attempt to shove it to fifa and demonstrates that there is probably little to no evidence for Evra being "racially abused". Liverpool will definitely appeal and the ban may even be reduced, which will take the piss even more. Eespecially if (as it currently seems) Evra's only evidence is Suarez admitting to calling him "negrito" in response to something that Evra himself said to him in the first place!

I haven't really been following either the Suarez or the JT stories, but what are the differences? Suarez gets slapped on the wrist/buttfucked(depending in which way you see it) by the FA, while John Terry gets prosecuted by the police? What are the differences in the two cases?

The police said that the Suarez incident wasn't worth considering, as it wasn't really considered particularly racist or offensive, just a bit of silly trolling - of which there is NO evidence other than Evra, who in return admitted racially abusing Suarez but somehow gets away with it. John Terry's racist abuse can clearly be seen on video, and a number of players on the pitch are supposed to have heard it. By all accounts the Terry incident is much more "serious."

He is meant to have said "I never called you a black cunt" but there was a player between Terry and the Camera for the "I never called you a" part. Terry's is worse because fans reportedly heard and made the initial complaint to the police I thought?

What happened was that even in the eyes of the law he has a case to answer for, which would suggest there is strong evidence he said some very bad things. I think people are entitled to talk about this new information, stop being a defensive Chelsea fan.

The victim didn't hear anything in Terry's case, it was QPR fan (I wonder if this could open a can of worms with opposition fans making these complaints to police regularly considering the damage they can do to rivals)

Does anyone think Terry or Suarez are actually racist? They both might be rather scummy individuals but I highly doubt either of them have proper racist opinions etc.

There have been voices within football about Terry in the past regarding this type of stuff (and just after the event), doesn't really normally make it out to the public though. Lots of people said they weren't at all surprised knowing him and his family.

Chelsea fan or not has nothing to do with it, I don't seem to fall in to the same type of crowd as you and others who tend to mock DM readers but are quite willing to form personal views in the same way as they tend to create "factual" articles. Like I've done with Suarez case I'll wait for actual real sources rather than all these forum ones that keep being referenced but seem to lack any credibility when pushed.
