You shouldn't stereotype clubs, you have obviously no idea whats happening at Blackburn. And the reason they get sacked so quickly iss probably because when a club has slipped so much form and losing results week in week out, it's a large risk to try stick by the manager (look at Blackburn), wheres as a new one injects blood into the club and often changes things around, especially results wise for the first months they are in charge. Once the fans get on the managers back, its very difficult for them to regain the trust. I can hardly think of a manager who has done that in the past.

Well what do you expect?, a low populated Town cannot even dream to become one of the big clubs and keep hold of players. They are feeder clubs, just like 70% of the other teams in the premier league. Once we get a decent player, they shoot off to the big clubs who throw money or "Champions League" prospects at them. Perhaps we were over achieving with Big Sam, however anyone in the PL should be able to aim for 10th spot, or perhaps higher, and this is not the case atm.

Why would you wanna sack Dagleish? he's the best manager you have had in years, and will have.
Take Chelsea for example, how many managers have they had in the past 4 years? 4.... ridiculous..

There should be a new rule, you can only sack a manager if he has been with the club for at least 2 years. Total disgrace the way they get thrown about.

I dont mind losing at all. In the first half Stoke were the dominant team overall, we didnt cope in the air and deserved to go in behind. We were far better in the 2nd half though and along with the foul on Modric we should've had at least one other penalty. Not even complaining about Kaboul's red, fucking stupid challenge on a player going nowhere.

Its just a shame that once again this season the ref's/linesman are getting too much attention for the wrong reasons.

in b4 'lol j00 r bitter spuds fan rofl' etc etc

The most worrying thing about that comment is that I think you are serious...

Its a fair result - I wonder why Spurs started so flat in the first half - gave themselves a real mountain to climb - Harry will not be Mr Happy...

Incidentally is he really a contender for England manager with an impending trial?

Keitanz you talk such rubbish. :(

The owner of a club can do what he wants, but he should know that he isn't going to achieve anything long-term without stability.

How many have Liverpool had? 3. Tit.

And how many trophies have Liverpool won in the past 4 years compared to Chelsea? Don't think I need to even go any further than that.

It was just an example, and I never said Liverpool were better than everyone else at keeping managers for long, lmao, wasn't an insult.

Pretty much every club in the Prem does it.. and it's the fans fault more than the owners.

He shouldn't have been employed anyway, but we were around 10th-12th when he was sacked.. to be honest I doubt Dagleish would have done much better with that team.. literally 2 weeks after we brought Dalglish in we bought Suarez and Carroll etc... which helped a lot..

The difference between Hodgson and Dalglish isn't so much the players as the fact that the squad Hodgson had actually believed (even though they play for a mid-table team that doesn't even play in Europe) that they were 'too good' for his methods. I believe the phrase is 'illusions of grandeur'.

...and Hodgson used to turn up in his PJs and slippers with a pocket full of lollies. Can't be good for any team.

To be fair - we've had two sets of owners in that time, and one of them was Hodgeson - and he shot himself in the foot.

But you're right - Keitanz is wrong about forcing teams to not be able to change their managers. That's just daft.

Nah. Hodgeson is a mid-table manager with a mid-table mentality. He fucked the fans off with a lot of idiotic statement - and then they wanted him out after that.

"Gentleman" my arse - idiot with some of the things he said.

Should have stayed at Fulham.

I always though the players got Hodgson sacked. They could of played his tactics much better than they did. But they decided they did not like it played crap and got him the sack without giving him a go.

Yeah Carroll has been excellent

*Chortle*
He brought a boost to the club for sure.. but still.. to this day I don't think he is worth £35m.. maybe £15m..

I think all he needs is time, with that he will turn in to a beast imo.

Maybe you should fire the manager. The current one can't keep him out the pub.

I just don't understand how it's pretty much always the managers fault.. like a few Chelsea fans were asking for AVB out when they certain players like David Luiz were playing like they were being controlled by a kid in the crowd with a playstation.. but no, pretty much most of the flack was towards AVB instead..

Most people are basically sheep, they follow others, this is how managers get hated and sacked within months. The owner has no other choice but to sack the manager when there are large protests to get the manager out.

except our whole team played shit under his system, then he changed it like everyone said we should and we give our best performance of the season with Luiz looking comfortable as everyone else

2 games doesn't really show much, but again, that was just an example..

I really don't think it's the system's fault that you performed like shit, most your *good* players are quite inconsistent and some of them are past it. No chance of challenging Man City for the title with that squad.

I'd rate Spurs squad above yours atm too :c and I hate Spurs :C

I'm still inclined to think playing a system that suits nobody is the managers fault.
