Has anyone seen the highlights from the Dynamo - Lyon match? I hate to say this, but it looks horribly fixed. The keeper and defenders are not even trying..

How Ajax's goals were offside I have no idea. Have you seen the pic I posted of the defender giving Gomis the thumps up.

Fix written all over it.. poor Ajax :(.

Looking at the highlights it seemed tragically obvious, wonder if UEFA will look into it?

The whole thing was a joke, no team implodes like that at all. Gomis second goal was like the Goal that was scored after the cup tie got called off a few years ago and the opposition let them walk the ball into the net from kick off!

Haha, two players 'falling over' and the gk diving after the ball had sailed under him was brilliant, the best was the 4th as both two defenders and the goalie stepped over the ball to let Gomis roll it in.

Nothing will be done, Lyon are French duh.

I'd love to know where this confidence comes from, they supposedly had a good enough team last year for the Eufa cup and ended up knocked out of it.
They have improved so much as a squad of players in the past 12 months...... well maybe their C team won't boss it:p but B team will get far.. they have the best squad in the prem by far at the moment..

Being in the Europa League with all these games is going to hurt Man Utd more than Man City in the Prem.. the best thing which can happen is Utd getting knocked out 1st/2nd round.

I'd like him to give the youngster the opportuniy Pogba and Ravel Morrison among others.

Oh you reminded me of something I read yesterday - apparently one of Gadaffi's sons was a footballer who played in Serie A - hes now under house arrest in some african country.

It was the best United start to the season since something like 1981 or thereabouts. Big wins against big teams. But we've been utter shit in the CL all the way through. This has been coming though; we won the league last year because everyone else lost the plot, we were pretty grim to watch in the CL last year as well. The gaping fucking hole in the centre of the park can't be ignored anymore; a complete rebuild is needed, and needed fast. Buying 14-year old Brazilians is all well and good, but they're not going to be winning you titles this year or the next.

That isn't what I mean, yes you've won and in a few games you've looked good but personally I think you've rode your luck quite a few times until recently where it seems to of been running out. This luck has covered what is a defense that is every bit as bad as ours, in reality unless something happens to fix your defense then I can't see you winning this season nor can I see us winning either.

No irregular betting found in the Lyon game.

I think you guys are underestimating how shit that Dinamo team is at the moment. But yes, the situation is suspicious at least.

Rooneys ban being reduced is bad news for England. Imagine the stroppy cunt coming on in the 3rd match, it's a leg kicking and a sending off waiting to happen. The man is a liability until he sorts his temprement out.

Yup - I'd rather see him banned for the whole tournament - it stifles all creativity when he plays and he's frankly an idiot who's easily baited by any opponent with an ounce of intelligence.

This.. we are better without the mess. Don't get me wrong when he is on his day then noone can stop him.. it's just that day is rare and once (and very easily) he is wound up.. then it's game over.

A little bit of Tevez out the door, a little bit of Vidic on the floor, a little bit of Nasri on the side, a little bit of Rooney shooting wide, a little bit of Mario having a laugh, a little bit of Nani on his arse...

Predictions for the Classico? I'm going 3-2 Real Madrid, if only from the point of view that I'm hoping we don't get a boring game like last year's CL semi final first leg on account of Real Madrid being boss so far this year and probably feeling they're the in-form side going into the game.

Non of United goals that night had Italian player falling to the floor for no reason :p and Ajax had goals chalked off which would have put them through as well.
