This, but at the same time I agree that AVB's tactics don't suit the players at his disposal. If we pretty much reinvent the team in his image I have faith. With the current squad I have very little.

Chel$ki need to take the hit and have faith in a manager you can not expect a treble in a guys first year. It sucks but take a crap year let him work out who he needs to replace who can adapt then go on from there.

Unwilling to do what exactly? play the same aged players that are on the wrong side of decent football players anymore? He needs more time and the chance of brining in a team that isn't full of Mourinhos babies, who are on a shit load of money. Fact is he can't really drop them all, because Abramovich would have a shit.

What Chelsea needs is a patient owner, not one who gets stroppy when his "toy" doesn't win shit every year. Nothing will improve until he changes his attitude towards his club and just lets his manager get on with it and have a bit of breathing space without the fear of being sacked after a couple of unsatisfactory performances. If AVB wants to clear out and bring in 6 new players then let him ffs, give him a couple of years. It's not like he's an unproven manager.
