Looks like top teams sell out pretty fast though, looks like only way to get tickets for a top team is to get in one of their lame fan clubs or whatever :/

You should probably amend that to "every English rugby fan i've ever met has been a toffee nosed twat tbh. Every single one."

I'd still disagree with you (it's only, ooh, 90% toffee nosed twats), but that was entirely Barton's point. Thuggish behaviour off the field from English rugby players is slap-on-the-wrist, tut-tut boys-will-be-boys stuff, because basically, they're posh. Football players on the other hand, get routinely crucified because a. they sell more newspapers, but b. because of their class (or lack of it).

If New Zealand or Irish players had behaved the way England's players did (in countries where Rugby is more popular and not quite as elitist) they'd have got a lot more stick than the English got from their media.
