Even if the keeper stood still and didnt use his hands it would have hit him right in the chest or stomach.. Horrible decision and complete tunnel vision if you ask me
Yeah they are great chaps. Best football podcast out there imo. Jim has been close friends with my girlfriend's brother since they were kids so I had met him a few times before I even knew that the podcast existed. When I started listening it didn't even click at first!
quite easy. The premiership for all intents and purpose will become a seperate entity and the championship will become the top league of the "multi-tier" system.
Would guess that they would include something stupid like "if finish in bottom (1-3 spots) for 3 years in a row then a vote will be made as to if you are removed from the premiership and replaced by the best championship team of the past x years
But it will ruin the game if they do that, and be funny if UEFA stepped in and said "under this situation, all european qualifaction spots will be given to the top side of the multi-tier system (ie the championship)". Would bring an end to this idea instantly
It would yes but it could also lead to talk of a European super league, separate from UEFA. Thus buggering most of the teams in the premiership. They would find themselves outside of the tier system and not in the big money league. Just deserts
I doubt they'll be able to prove anything one way or another. If I was a betting man I'd say Suarez is guilty because a. its very unusual to see Evra react like that, so something was going on beyond normal needle*, and b. I'm going to make a massively sweeping statement here, but the "white" parts of South America (Argentina, Chile and Uruguay) are surprisingly racist.
*(and no, I don't think it was because Suarez skinned him a few times; others have done that on occasion and he's not responded like that).
