The same Emile Heskey who has scored more goals in a World Cup final than Wayne Rooney and was our best player at the last World Cup? That one?

You'll defend anyone who pulls on a Villa shirt won't you? Christ. You're so goddamn tiresome.

Despite having played in the same league as Ronaldo? He's had a number of good complete seasons, particularly under O'Neill. You should take your head out of the Sky four's arse sometime.

Nothing to do with Sky, I watch enough football to be able to pass judgement, people like Gabby come along all the time, all the talent in the world but they never make the next step. He's hit his peak at Villa and unless he moves on to better coaches and playing with better players he will never release anymore of that potential he has.

Gabrielle ;)

No fucking comparison!

And yet you did a comparison. Factor into that the differences in their ages, the fact that Agbonlahor was an athlete who converted to football and the teams they play for.

Ashley Young hasn't suddenly become a better player at Man United, whatever Sky Sports might keep telling you, he's just playing with better players. Do that with Agbonlahor and he'd amaze you.

He did a comparison, the result of which is there is no comparison.

I think Young is playing better than he ever did at Villa. Being surrounded by quality players obviously helps but he is oozing confidence like I never saw at Villa (except for a bit when O'Neill was at the helm).

In 2008/2009 Ronaldo was 23 when he had a very successful year, Agbonglahor is now 24 so last years stats should do eh??

I didn't think so, I don't give a shit whether he's converted from being a hair dresser to a footballer. He's not in Ronaldos league, fuck he's not even in Nani's league. ANd staying at Villa won't allow him to improve at all. Young is a prime example!!!

Let's see if you still lend your plastic support to Chelsea once Roman sells up.
Been hearing that since he bought the club and all he ever does is show his commitment to the club, think you might be waiting a long time.

Oh look, you called someone a plastic again. Fuck yourself. You're boring and have utterly no idea about how I go about supporting my club, nor should you pass judgement on how anyone else does or chooses to do. Sad little prick.

Possibly a bit bitter that your Billionaire Sugardaddy doesn't actually have any money?

I supported Chelsea long before him and I'd still do even if he did sell up, which I don't see happening any time soon.

Really when a person talks up Emile Heskey you kind of knock your own foundations out for any discussion.

Turamber is right about Young though.

Nani in the past season has impressed me a lot more than Ronaldo ever did tbh.

But Man Utd fans ass licking of Ronaldo STILL is a bit funny, even after what he did to Man Utd :p

Declaring your love over and over for another club is just outright rude, ofc it's just my opinion but he could have treated the man utd fans better..

What did he do for them? Just scored loads of goals as their best player for a few years, getting them several trophies a long the way before going to his dream club, fucking cunt.

Sorry, forgot football was all about money.

My mistake.

I am not sure where i said it was but hey ho. He won a load at Manchester United and when he left he left in a way which massively benefited Man U they have not suffered for the loss.

I don't know what frightens me more; England in a World Cup final or Heskey playing for England in a World Cup final. :\

So we can clarify that being surrounded by better players makes players improve. E.g. Messi wouldnt be anywhere as good without the others around him, and the same can be argued for Young.

Shove Gabby in United and I'd think he'd be doing quality tbh, but it will never happen as he is Villa till he dies.

He did nothing wrong, Utd got 80 million for him and he performed right up until the end. Not like Fabregas/Modric spitting their dummies out :p

Err Fabregas never spat anything out you utter twonk. Have you seen how he left or what he's said about us since? Whenever he talks about Arsenal he still uses "us." Just because he wanted to play at Barca doesn't mean he ever gave less than 100% on the pitch. He even scored a penalty against Barca with a broken bone in his leg and celebrate all guns blazing.

To suggest he ever gave anything more than his full effort on the pitch at Arsenal is a disgraceful thing to say. He never did a Modric and said "my head's not right to play" - he always wanted to play and normally smashed everyone on the pitch, as his assist record shows.
