IMO Celtic and Rangers with the massive crowds they pull would do well the in PL they would have bigger drawing pwer than most of the bottom half of the table and with PL money they could get some decent players. I doubt they would get Europe anymore though.

But how would they get in Soze? They couldn't. You can't break the league structure to bring in two clubs because they are broke and want a slice of the prem money pie.

If it were to happen all of the leagues would need to merge. So i would take the Top 4 from the SPL and add them to the championship and increase that league by 4 teams. The rest i would change to make Division 1 North and South ect with the top 2 from each league entering a play off for promotion to the championship. The Bottom 3 go down a league and come up ect. Its not perfect but its the only way i could see it working?

Stick rangers and celtic straight in the PL for a year, it used to be 22 teams, see what happens.

I agree with soze, i think celtic and rangers have big reputations and could bring in big players with the premier league money. They both have loads more fans than a lot of PL sides and they deserve better than the shower of shite that is the SPL. Fuck the rest of the teams off and leave them in scotland.

Fucking disgrace. Copenhagen got a goal cancelled in the first half by an offside that was no where to be seen

Now we are down by three. Fuck my disgusting miserable life

The Chelsea fans were awfully quiet last night at Mestalla.. I would have expected more of them aswell? I thought every brit loved going to Spain and get piss drunk even just for a couple of days? :D

Dunno, Chelsea are pretty famous for their great traveling support. We certainly outsung the Utd fans at Old Trafford for most of the game. I guess going abroad might not be so popular right now.

Why was the Mestalla only half full btw?

Have no idea! Was probably 75% full, but they had an offer at the shop: for every €35 spent you got a free ticket. Friend of mine got a shirt with name and number and got two tickets as well

Weird these spaniards! But I've grown accustom to their habits so now when I'm at the stadium I shout in Spanish without realising it, I sit down throughout the entire game and I eat an entire bag of Piponazos :D

Sounds like attendance in Spain is generally pretty poor, with most places only selling out when Barcelona or Real Madrid visit.

Ticket prices in England seem to be way higher than any other country as well.

Back on the subject about attendencies, when we visited Stamford Bridge this march it wasn't sold out either. That was home ground 1/8 CL finals. Didn't make sense to me at all and we controlled the entire stadium.. Vocally that is ;)

Away teams are always the more vocal, especially in quiet grounds such as the bridge.

And eks.. outsinging United at OT is the standard, the asians and tourists mostly fill that ground.

Chelsea always struggle. Their fan base is traditionally more working class, yet they have extortionate prices. Most of their fans have been priced out of the club.
