Cesc's gone, official. Barring medical.

finally wont have to hear about that anymore...

and lmao at Valdes on Ronaldo. Couldnt get a clearer penalty then that. "oh look he running past me, lets just throw an arm at him"

When they stop cheating I will respect them, currenlty the only respectable player seems to be Messi

You are so screwed, I reckon it is just too late to do much in the transfer market unless he was already planning moves before the deal finally went through.

Some places are reporting we are close to a few deals but we needed Cesc deal done before it happened. And we had to threaten Barcelona with cup toeing Cesc to get them to do a deal this early, as though though they could get him for around £20m on deadline day. I do not know what the sources are for these rumours though.

But priority one is getting our Best player (RVP) on a long term to shut up the exodus rumours.

I would be worried about RVP because with the lack of real progress I reckon a number of more players are playing a wait and see game.

Having seen the highlights I'm fairly happy with Chelsea, Torres has certainly improved just needs to work on the finishing.

RvP is arsenal through and through IMO, wouldn't leave. The next few days will see what Arsenal can do to make a challenging season. Hazard would be a perfect acquisistion, I retract my statement, with Lille falling apart he may leave. If Arsenal want a player who grabs the game by the scruff then he's your man.

Also from France, need some grit in midfield there is Yann M'Vila, could be another good acquisition. Maybe poach a few from the giants who got relegated? Andrea Poli from Sampdoria would be ace.

Ahah the Messi goal around the 3 minute mark, if that was anyone in the Premier League they'd be on the floor begging for a penalty.

Problem with sell cesc now is, everyone knows how much money they got for him... So any replacement target insta cost 10% more for arsenal

As expected, Song has been charged, and both Arsenal and Toon charged for failing to control players.

Barton gets off completely free of charge because of his booking. Joke system.

MC sound like they've started out from the beginning in defensive mode.

Just turned it on. Barry is playing while Aguero and Balotelli are on the bench. Turned it off again.

Infact... when it comes to De Gea... it seems simply a case of his reactions are amazing, hence why he a good shot blocker from close range... however his timing is often poor which is why he lacks on longer shots

He apparently conceded most long range goals in La Liga last season

You are missing out, this is the best I've seen city play from an attacking view.

The swansea keeper is worth a shout for fantasy footy I think... making lots of saves.

Also I'd like to add they are only playing both Johnson and Silva together for once, and the combination is scary.

This.

Silva is immense, if Man city dropped Barry (preferably from a great height) and stuck a creative midfielder alongside De Jong and Yaya Toure their midfield would be awesome, especially with Silva - Dzeko - Johnson/Ageuro up front.

Ok so maybe for the price we payed for him, De Gea should be the complete package, but I'd rather he had the reactions in his closet and learned to be a better long range stopper and he really is a very young lad. I'm starting a stick with De Gea campaign here on FH.

STICK WITH DE GEA!!!

Lindegaard please! Sørensen is getting old an it would be awesome with a new Schmeichel since the rest of our squad is totally shit and old. Our youngsters look promising tho

Because they play the same position :m00:

United should sign up the Swansea keeper. However if De Howler costs £14m they may need to sell off the ground and naming rights to afford him ^^

De Gea will be a great keeper, he can learn to improve his weak areas, you cant train reactions easily which is why Im not in a panic. He showed on a couple of occasions he got the goods to keep us in matches just need to get his confidence up and spend alot of time training him in the timings.

And yes, he conceeded the most goals from range in la liga (13 or something i think)

You've got it love it Corran, the worried, petty snipes of fans so fearful of our dominance they must jump on every flaw, no matter how irrelevant to the scoreline.

Do they really need 3 defensive minded midfielders at home to Swansea? They could at least play Milner
