Couldn't agree more about Pearce.

I think Rodwell needs a big season to really announce himself, but he definitely has the potential.

I have to say I find it surprising Welbeck was called up over Sturridge though. On the subject of whom, I really hope he establishes himself at Chelsea this season.

I reckon Sturridge has the right wing position nailed down as his already. Started pretty much every preseason game there, tbf he only has Anelka and Kalou as competition and he's better than either. Shame he's got a 3 match league ban though

Rodwell needs a season without injury, I don't think the lad will every release his potential otherwise.

I fully expect a delay to the start of the season at this rate. If this goes on for another night or two then the extra deployed police to london wont be available for their home areas thus may not have the manpower throughout the country to deal with games
