Away he goes...

Wonder if Mr O'Neill fancies moving to the North East, Bruce fails in another derby game.

Suprised. I. Am. Not.

Indeed, we both said it at the same time and both correct. He left the ref no option.

Now we just need Nasri to be sent off so he misses the Man Utd match as well. Think arsene is in he transfer market tomorrow for a CM and DC, lol. Liverpool really have to win this game now.

Good call, O'Neill would do a cracking job at Sunderland imo. I like Steve Bruce he is a nice guy, was very pleasant when I met him at Villa Park ... but his managerial ability is mixed at best.

Frimpong will become a top player but that was a shocking tackle and should of been a red.

Forgot Walcott was playing. Mind you it is the same with Ramsey. Infact i think Nasri is one the only midfielders involved for Arsenal now that Frimpong is off.

This what I don't get about Wenger.

He brings on Bendtner and plays him down the right, leave RVP in the centre and keeps Nasri left. Surely you would shift RVP left, Bendtner centre and play Nasri right.

Actually feel quite sorry for Arsenal, they've had such an incredibly unlucky start this season :p

wouldnt really say it was an unlucky start. Yes the injuries have been unlucky, but the 3 suspensions is down to stupidity, not luck.

Song stupid, Gervinho stupid, Frimpong stupid (he knew he couldnt dive in)

Could be a very hard, disappointing season for Arsenal - particularly if Nasri goes. A lot depends on how Wenger spends the money he has in the next week or two. He doesn't need anymore 13 year olds with huge potential, he needs big players who can make an impact and keep Arsenal in the top four this season.

Nice goal by Liverpool, took them long enough to get one of their own back. TBH there hardly been a decent attempt the whole game and not sure what is to blame for that other then there never seems to be anyone in the box for either side when crosses were being put in

Nasri was one of their best players today, worked his socks off for them. They will miss him if he goes because they didnt look like they had much quality in the middle of the park today... at least not enough quality that is there now, as opposed to the "potential".

I am just content the reds got their first win of the season. I didn't see the game yet heard it on radio 5 live. Alan Green made no mention of offside for either goal - which is unlike him. I'll take a look at the goals later on MOTD and see if they were offside as has been hinted at on the BBC website.

Big game for Arsenal midweek. Hope things get better for them as I would like to see an English side progress into the Champions league.

only the first goal was offside, although Arsenal probably would have seen out the draw without it
