It is not just Liverpool fans Furguson pretty much came out and said it was all done and dusted didn't he? Then back tracked to support Evra. IMO it was an obvious mistake and not meant in a malicious way so Evra could of easily taken the apology and moved on, but he did not because he is a cunt. I am no fan of Racism but this seems to have been blown out of all proportion all because of Evra

Fergie said the club would stand by Evra's decision but at no point did we say anything else, there was no press campaign against Suarez from us.

Also Evra was aggrieved and did not like what Suarez said, whatever that was, no one will ever know except the two of them. We cannot judge at the end of the day Evra's upbringing and how Suarez's words would have affected him, no matter how Suarez meant them. I supported the FA not overreacting, but the enquiry report paints Suarez in a very bad light, not even his team mates agreed with his version of events.

You say Evra should have taken the apology.... please remind me what apology that was? Suarez did not at any point apologise. The PFA tried reconciliation, but BOTH parties refused.

Should clarify, Suarez did not apologise until after he was banned, and even then not to Evra.

When it came out that that there was confusion over how it was meant if Evra had said OK if I get an apology we will say no more about it. I think Liverpool and Suarez would of made an apology. Do you honestly believe what he said was meant to be Racist? I think he is getting a really unfair reputation from this whole thing.

Yes, if he said what evra claimed it was clearly meant as a racial slur to upset him, given the fact they werent mates having banter. As it was suarez was not willing to accept he was in the wrong any more so than evra, why should it be up to evra to demqnd an apology?
