I think he gets a nice wedge as an ambassador for the MLS as the biggest American player its a big bonus that they get to keep him in the us.

11 in 16 hes on currently for a relegation side isn't bad at all. He's what you would need imo, actually stick the chances in the back of the net rather then fluffing chance after chance. You'd pay alot for him however unless he plays his face up, but he wouldn't do that.

Jarvis hmm.. in a top side he would shine tbh. Has finally got back to the form that earnt him the England cap.

I could see both moving on tbh as we aren't one to stand in a players way.
Dunno, 30 goals in 82 games is okay for a bench striker.. I don't think Liverpool have a problem with strikers, just a problem with getting the current ones which we know are amazing to actually hit the net more.

Biggest problem is imo what the problem has been for years now.. wingers.. we need better wingers :D well a right winger now since we got Downing..

If he is coming back, this is fantastic news. I was feeling like i was losing hope all over again, if i remember rightly we had a really good period with him in our team, but i hear the Rodwell rumours are popping up again. Undecided on that front, the funds could help us i guess.

Champ league draws thrown up some good games.

Ac Milan vs arsenal
Napoli vs Chelsea
Leverkusen vs barca
Marseille vs inter

Rest look boring

Man United v Ajax, and City vs Porto. I wonder if SAF and Mancini may put out stronger teams than expected, as they are both potentially big draws and could be great games.

Better Ajax and a 40 minute plane journey than some Ukranian sub-zero hellhole. Mancini will put out a strong side, SAF will play the kids; there's too much at stake in the Premiership and its Thursday games.

Looks like Newcastle are sinking back to reality - they should manage a top ten finish but thats about it.

Listening to football on the radio is so stressful when your team is defending a 1-0 win. Any attack by the other team has me shitting bricks

Fucking shit referees in the lower leagues. They just randomly pick a number between 1 and 5 to add on as extra time.

So, from the live text, it doesn't seem like there's an awful lot of exciting football going on at the DW?
