just read in danish paper that the DBU (Danish equivelant of FA) and National captains vote did not get registered for the player of the year vote according to FIFA, no one has yet said why (though DBU has said they sent everything off on time and were never contacted by FIFA to say they were not received), so if their vote didnt get through, who elses might have been missing?

who would? Micah Richards is starting to find form again and has been made into a RB rather than CB these day but other than that their littrally is no1

You can't exactly deny he's England's best rightback considering he'll start every time he's fit regardless of any other player. Don't you remember the summer?

Yup, there's very little to choose from indeed. Richards probably first choice for me. I rate Hibbert much higher than Johnson. He's very average at best but at least he has consistency and defensive discipline to his game. He'll NEVER get capped though

Also confirmed deals:

Bentley to Birmingham on loan until the end of the season

Bridge to West Ham on loan ; massive signings for the hammers this. Can't see them being relegated if they can bring in maybe one more quality player.

Sunderland are being linked to Muntari on loan or maybe a permanent deal.

I would go along with Wazz on that, Richards is by far a better defender than Johnson, as is Hibbert although as an all round player he isn't good enough.

If only Fergie could have got Richards as a kid, England would have had a great right-back at this point.
