Welcome to the world of the FA

Babel makes a joke in frustration on Twitter, apologises, yet the FA are going to look into it. Theo Walcott admits to cheating and the FA arent doing anything.

You couldnt make it up.

btw, kenny dalglish is now in charge of liverpool and his first match back they lost 1-0 to manu in the FA cup, in which there was a controversial penalty and gerrard got sent off. Just thought i'd fill you in mate xD

Hamit Altintop got the goal of the year award. The goal made by Linus Hallenius required way more skill in my opinion though :)

He any good? Seems a bit high price :p

RM sold him to Sevilla for 15M € on 2009 summer.

Not a bad striker but dont expect a Drogba. Tall, strong, good header, but hes prone to long periods w/o scoring goals.

If anything, I would compare him with Huntelaar.

I've always found it weird that it "has to go" to someone who has had a successful World Cup/Euro Cup/Champions League etc. If Messi was a Estonian player in the Estonian league with his current skill he would still be the best player by far but would never be considered for any rewards cause Estonia will never succeed in WC etc.

if Xavi had dragged Spain through every game, scoring in all but one (England were too pro for Ronaldo) then i'd imagine he'd have won it.

Iniesta scoring the winning goal probably took a load of votes away from Xavi anyway.

6 different spaniards got votes, prolly the reason why Messi won :p

I think this article from last year is funny tho!

FIFA world player award voting full of mystery - FIFA World Cup Blog

And the other man who, somehow, chose Drogba as number one and Ballack as number two ... who is the man who perpetrated such a crime?

Some fool from a far away land? Some tin pot player from a tin pot nation who shouldn't be allowed anywhere near these awards? Some guy who never sees any decent football, no doubt.

Or England's John Terry.

John Terry, national joke. The same bloke who said Chelsea were by far and away the best side in England last year but managed to win the league by a single point. In short, the bloke is a complete fuckwit. :D

This.

Had Sneijder been the 3rd contendant instead Iniesta, Xavi would have won the award.

Wes should have been top 3 but even deciding the top 5 was never going to be easy after Spain won the world cup.
