Better than everyone else they've been linked with. Especially Curbishley. I can't understand why that man was ever employed.

Rumour around the bush is that Houllier will be a DoF and Mcdonald the manager.

All hell to break loose in Bham tonight.

They've interviewed a different person each day this week, and the next day the papers say that they are now favourites to get the job. Lazy journalism.

I think we'll get Houllier as Director of Football and the current incumbent will get the Manager job full time. And I predict it will be shit (technical footballing term).

Dawsons injury looked like a bad one, was similar to Frazier Campbells at the weekend against City, only worse. Feel for the lad as he and Jagielka looked pretty comfortable there.

Good performance for us, we looked much more dangerous on the break though, when we had possesion we just seemed to go sideways.

I know Rooney did well to create goals last night - but is nobody worried about his lack of goals? I seem to remember people on this very forum stating that the role of an international striker is only to score goals...

If he's creating goals it's fine. People were stating that an international striker should do something not just score.

aslong as there's a goal people will be happy. Though will have to reserve judgement til when they actually play someone of worth, no offence to Bulgaria but they're no germany.

I'd hope that 11 professional footballers of that level would be able to turn over Cyprus without a manager.......

4-4 lol

Taken from the Beeb:

Wayne Rooney is still expected to travel to Switzerland for England's Euro 2012 qualifier despite allegations about his private life.

When asked if Rooney would be travelling to Switzerland, the FA said it expects the whole squad to travel.

No decision has yet been taken and as it stands, Rooney is expected on the flight with the rest of the squad.

News of the World and Sunday Mirror carrying the story apparently, so it must be true.....
