Man Utd really scraped together that point. wasnt a pretty game but was typical of this seasons away performances. Blackburn were really solid all game, and were so close to being 2-0 up.

Tomas will find he lost the chance of being the #1, with luck Lindgaard plays the last game, and VDS plays half a match on Tuesday.

The penalty - it was a penalty by following the rules. Always a weak one to get when you never going to get on the end of your touch and you just kick it away so the keeper only hits you. But those are the rules and it was 2 goals from 2 awful pieces of keeping.

The players reaction - Well the moment the challenge was made the Blackburn sub was in the linesmans ears and trying to influence the decision, cant blame the Utd players for doing the same BUT they didnt need to all go.
Vidic going up due to being the captain makes sense, but there was too many of them. Practice for the Champions league though.
Simple fact is - the referee has said it was a penalty in his mind and all he was doing was seeing the linesmans view of it. Problem is the linesman did NOT flag for a penalty and therefore caused alot of the problems.

Next match - blackpool.
I expect Lindgaard (assume his fit) - Gibson, Anderson, Berbatov, Owen will all start and possibly a few others.
Giggs, Scholes, Vidic, Rio, Rooney, Hernandez to be rested.

it is the Gary Neville testimonial match. Strange time to have it, but could be helpful tbh. Rest most the first team against Blackpool and then give everyone a 45minute runout on tuesday where things wont be so physical.

Lol today was our day, we sealed the title and not just any title but the 19th! next week is just picking up the trophy but today we did what all the pundits said was unlikely with this United side and won a league that is truely competitive. Oh AND we have a European Cup final to look forward to at Wembley against a truely massive club who play brilliant football! Would I take City's day over United's? Hmm, tough choice. lol

Heard it all before, so many predicated end of eras all proven wrong. One day it will finally happen of course but I don't believe that time is as close as you would like us to believe. When it finally comes I plan to take it gracefully, no one should experience what we have in winning so much in the last 17 years and be anything less than totally grateful to have lived through such an era. Our time will come again though, of that I am certain, just as one day Liverpool with win a 19th title and City will be relegated yet again.

City looked alright today. Balotelli played well and i really like Silva. Still, it is difficult to tell what their team cohesion is like. Tevez plainly still cant speak English which has to be a huge negative as he is their club captain and talisman. Well done to United, the best team always wins the league. I sincerely hope Barca demolish you in the CL final though .
