The point is the strip is ugly, Mags are going nuts as its not the usual black and white stripes. Plus the extra tenner to make it look extra ugly with your iron on transfer.

only cause most of our fans dont know which end of an iron to hold so the first home match would be half empty as theyd all be in a&e with 1st degree hand burns.

It is cak though, whats wrong with our traditional b&w stripes. stupid new fangled progress thingy, theyve only done this so ashley can say the 30 million from carroll sale is not available to buy new players as its been spent on a "design agency"

as father ted would say "down with this sort of thing!"

Whoa listen to the noise from the home fans... It's almost deafening .

Bitter fucker, any more of that and I am going to start hoping you get relegated just so you have a lousy 15 months ahead of you. :p

The BEST thing about Newcastle's new kits?

They're made by Puma.

One of the Puma cats on the GK shirt is black.

If you don't know why this is an epic fail, you don't belong in this thread. It's amazing.

As if their new shirt wasn't ugly enough, they go and okay that.

There's several stages of acceptance for new kits, no idea how anyone missed it. On the day of release the whole internet has seen it :D

TBH we all know football goals should be bigger in accordance with how people and the game has grown in the last 100-150 years, goals are relatively much smaller now than they ever have been.

Also, van Persie has hit the woodwork more times in the EPL's history than any other. We could do with a fraction more luck I think. :)

Or players that can shoot. Just because you support a team full of cop outs, you don't have to be one yourself. ;)

Van Persie is such a frustrating player. I would love to see what he could do with a full season since joining in the 2004-2005 season he has made 109+44 league appearances. He is a fantastic striker and is imo on form one of the best in the league, we just cant pin our hopes on the guy as he has never played more than 28 league games in a season.

Aye its a shame really , read one of his interviews a while back and he seems a decent guy.

The best player ive ever seen play for SAFC was Kieron Brady and he had to retire at 22 cos of poor circulation in his legs , since then i hate seeing good players struggle cos of injury , we have John Mensah on loan at sunderland and he is a class defender but hes made of glass.

Edit ill also mention Michael Bridges in that , he was a great player but Peter Reid just didnt like him and we had Quinn and Phillips partnership at the time , he joined Leeds when they were relevant but had trouble with injuries.
