Yeah, he's been in talks over the last 24 hours after both clubs agreed on a fee of anywhere between 4 and 6 million pounds. Hopefully he will sign soon then we will be set for the run in to the end of the season and a push for Europe!

The truth is that up until now Rodwell would not have gotten many starts at United and so was better staying at Everton, with us ready to overhaul our central midfield it is now the ideal time for him to join us. United have been watching Rodwell for years, Everton and his agent are well aware so do not be suprised if it happens.

£40 million for an injury prone nancyboy who wants to leave, great deal imo. Chelsea could do alot better with that kind of cash, unless Torres stays injury free which I seriously doubt ever happening. The boy ain't strong.

So Torres hands in a transfer request. Guilleme Balague did call this a few days ago. Liverpool would be mad not to cash in on a player who doesnt want to be at the once famous, now a shadow of its former self, club. Sell him for £30m-£40m, Jackpot, they may be able to afford to buy the ex championship player, Charlie Adam off Ian Holloway.

Chelsea get a world class striker, Liverpool get a scottish international. Everyones happy!

tbh i'd be happy to sell torres for 40 mill plus sturridge

basicly we get sturridge and suarez up front + an extra 17 mill to help rebuild


hate to see torres go but makes to much business sense, same with united and ronaldo
