Silly sending off but Rafael has been abit clumsy in his challenges all day and he probably had himself firlmy in the refs mind. Take berba off and bring on scholes now I think.

Is it just me or is there only "football fans" who support the following teams posting in this thread?

... how many teams are there in the UK...? just shows that most people are glory hunters (myself included) really :/ I guess no one wants to support the unknown teams, just bit stupid really.

Support good old Oxford utd aswell, used to always get season ticket but well can't afford anything these days. Just there's nothing really to shout about atm.

Newcastle fan here, for my sins. The legend that is Tino Asprilla rekindled my love for football and I've been suffering for my sins ever since :)

Fuck that was close right at the end. Point won for us there, Spuds edged it for most of the game and will feel hard done by.

Man U have played as bad as a number of other teams this season but the difference has been they've managed to win at home and not lose away even when playing bad which will keep them in pole position.

Nail on head, our football has rarely been great this season but even when we have played badly we haven't lost.

Spurs were clearly the more dangerous side, we rarely really pushed forward. But for all their posession spurs not make any real clear cut chances as their final ball was poor and Vidic was a god in the middle, clearly the man of the match imo.

The sending off was very harsh.
First booking he got is kinda understandable because he dived in, but he did win the ball. Crouch was very similar and didnt get booked.
Second booking was awful decision, if you watch the guy runs across him and rafael actually pulled out of his stride in order to try avoid him. It was not a booking at all and you see it go unpunished alot. Mike Dean never been a great ref in that respect though and is one the refs you regularly see backing the home team in decisions, guess he scared of the fans.

I wanted a point out this game, was always gonna be tough and thought that we would always be looking to counter attack. We just couldnt create anything though really and like spurs, the final ball was poor.

League as a whole has been shoddy and all over the place this season. There's been a real lack of consistent quality football from any team

Oi, I'm a Spurs fan! To be fair I live in Manchester and haven't even been able to make any of our away games in the NW this season, I usually get to 3 or 4 a season though :( That and I find I spend more time freezing to death at crappy non-league grounds following Harriers, was at Barrow-in-Furness yesterday to see us lose :(

VdV should've won it at the end but can't complain with a point against United - Rafael was always going to be on dangerous ground once he got that booking in the first half although the second yellow was a bit tame IMO

Hmm, seems to be rumours flying around of some problems after the Everton Pool game, something about an Evertonian getting stabbed, and then a 'pool fan getting done in - in retaliation...

Madrid drawing away with bottom-placed Almeria, Ronaldo hit the bar in the last minutes with a free kick.

Barcelona with the chance to go 4 clear
