Tried WoW and I find it much much more superior than DAoC as it is now.

SWG sucks big time. When it came out I remember many people saying they gonna leave but the numbers were not compared to that of WoW (which has some backround history with a game that many people still play at lan). What WoW has that other games doesnt have is excisting online gamers but just to the form of a strategy game.

Gotta say i, for one, had a lot of expectation/hope waiting on wow.. looked even more promising when i tried out the first beta clients in which u could do nothing but run around the landscape with a tauren (regardless of the cartoonish whine)
However, after trying us open beta for a couple of days, i have to push myself to stay online chainning quests which while been fast paced still bring to my memory lineage2 quests.. here u dont have to repeat the exact same quest for 4 or 5 lvls, instead u do 20 or 30 similar ones.. gameplay/engine is far from impressive and the variety/customization of characters seems aswell preety limited
Then again, cant really judge a game for 2-3 days gameplay and a load of documentation

tried wow beta and to me it totally sucks...gameplay is better than daoc but its a one-button game with gfx worse than Jumpman on my C64....so people will leave daoc for wow but will be back in 2 weeks or so cos they reached lvl 60 with pressing 2 different buttons for 10.000 times
