TBH, it was an absolutely shocking "challenge", 'arry was right in that you could see Thatcher wasn't really intending to get the ball. I hope the FA can punish him, but I don't think you can as the ref booked him for the incident, a letter of apology (which is all he has done currently) is a bit of a joke IMO.

I remember when Duncan Ferguson was at Glasgow Rangers - got into a "handbag" row during a game and nudged the opponent with his head( nothing more than a nudge) - he served a prison sentence for it."
