Had a great time in RVR with my lvl 41 Eldritch last night!

I have found it’s extremely difficult to find a group in RVR when the lvl is low (my low means lvl37+), especially as a character without any speed buff spells. Lots of times, I end up sulk myself to death and either go back to lvl or TRY to run to Emain to see if there are any zerging (have no choice), but very often, I am killed by some Albs or Mids half way though or even just outside DL.

Last night, after unsuccessful group seeking in Odin's Gate, I went back to DL, tried to get to Emain but was killed by Alpha. The second try was good: Saw Aussie and Alpha were killing two other hibs just outside DL, bolt one of them and they ran away after one hib was down. Also managed to avoid a fg of albs and got to Crim Safely. There you were, Lydracia (hope spell the name right), invited me to join the group with other lvl50s and didn't desert me when my computer was crushed and also during regrouping. It was the best RVR I ever had. Still very new to it, but I am much calmer now when fighting with ppl from enemy realms.

Lots of thanks, to you all lvl50s who grouped with me last night! Hunting for invaders was fun and duelling with them was great too. Sorry didn't mention all your names, but I wont forget the favour.

I know it is much hader in this time to find a RvR group then it was at beginning. Did my first RvR with lvl 15. For being usefull in RvR (if not a bard or druid) u should be lvl 40+ but still u will die a lot ... better be lvl 45+ because blue or green chars will be prime target of bolt caster, snipers.
Don't try to move solo to emain there is always a alpha around. Better lvl if u don't get a group for RvR.
Don't understand why there is not BG for lvl 36-42 because this chars have a very hard time in normal RvR.

I'm too frigging lame to xp although i'm a bard so went to emain an awful lot coz it was sooo fun ! , I got many groups there becoz of my speed and now i realise i was 20 lvls below my entire group !

Oh yeah, cookies! You have to wait a bit, as I am too busy in researching for new receipts and killing mobs for the perfect ingredients.

Guess it would never be a good idea to go to Emain alone: killed by Alpha again, twice in around half an hour. I should go with 10 stealthers next time, love to be the bait

People suggest that having realm abilities will help to lvl, and that is one of the reasons I do RVR and also I get bored of lvling sometimes (it is tooooo boring and soooo slowly!!) or tired of making cookies! I have MCL at the moment, what other RAs will be good to have as an eldritch? My void is 39, is it worthy to specialise it to 50? Bolt seems quite cool on the RvR we had.

BTW, at lvl41, I still can buy medallions from the merchant to BG, but I wasn't being teleported. It could be my realm rank is over the limit to BG or its a bug, Im not quite sure. However, even I could go, I think probably no one is there, as I have tried Caledonia (30-35) before, and failed to take the keep by myself.

Best to take void to 46 as that gives you the best bolt, nothing worthwhile after that. Then rest of points in light for ae mez and range debuff or mana for a decent pb.

And ras, aug acc 2 should be next on the list. As after that you can buy serenity (faster mana regen) wild power (more crits) and master of magery (+3% dam on dd's and bolts per lvl of this ra)
All of these i bought and found helped enourmously with xping.
