Hehe I was wondering if you might say something. Well if I remember correctly, (I just did a quick search, couldn't find the old thread and I am dealing with a sick child right now so I cba to spend 20 mins to look, BUT...)I said we hadn't done raids at ungodly hours in a long time. I never said we wouldn't do one.

I'm not embarassed, in fact I find it rather amusing that you guys are complaining that we did excatly the same thing as you.

And I really am surprised you guys didn't have anyone watching the relic keep. I know there are Hibs that are on at that time of night, you guys really didn't think we would bother to come back and try and get it? We ALWAYS keep people at the relic keep after a relic raid. Not that many its true, but enough to do some damage and sound the alarm. (and besides it was a friday night, not like we did it on a weekday lol)

Thank you Hibernia, we needed that little kick in the tush to motivate us and care about our relics again.

There was a time when we (Daoc players) were able to port Odins/Emain/HW, hit doors down from all keeps, kill keep Lords at the same time and hit Relic keep fast or just zerg to Relic keep without that enemy could know we are there.

Now we port to Odins/Emain/HW, take a keep and if that keep is claimed, guild who have claimed it will get guard reports(Knight Commander from your outpost have been killed by 150 enemy, there is a little chance that this could be a relic raid ) or if we want to just zerg our way to Relic keep, it's up to how lucky we are with patrols will we get to Relic keep before defenders and even if we do, enemy will get guard reports from(not sure do we ) Relic guards.

This guard report thing was a bad idea IMO. Well, not a bad idea, it just could have been made better. There is no need to report every single guard who get killed, first report should come 10mins after enemy have killed 10 guards (for example). Report from patrol should come 30mins after they got killed(for example). Best if they just remove whole guard report thing, I don't like it

Anyway, was a fun raid.

hibs are uber players and are few so they are allowed to raid at 7am.
albs are tottaly newbs and zerg and got 1000s on all the time, so they can not raid at any time cept 19.00-23.00

Hmm... well, IF we got the relics again, you would go back and take them at 4am when hibernia does not have enouth people online to defend..

Its slighty demoralising to think we can never have the relics if your going to come and keep taking them at ungodly hours..

Bash every keeps doors every day for a month and see if they really wanna pay anymore for doors, or watch alb fall apart as they start to divide about who's gonna pay for them Simple, just use longtermtactics

Personally i love standing with a ram and think, OUCH there went another bunch of golds, OUCH and there went another one

More keepraids!!! only need 2-3fgs anyway, shudnt be so hard to raise? Or is it really more fun for hibbies to farm in CM, or PL alts at fins?? Suit yourself hibs.

We had 5fg for the relic take..
At 4am albion had 10fg..

Our people would rather level a new 50 then bother about relic raids in general

I highly doub't that we'll keep the relics for all eternity and I also doubt that there wont be a single whine when we lose em ;o

But relics are just a part of the game and your heros and champs hit hard enough without them

Lets just try to enjoy the game (even though it can be hard sometimes)

Hib just doesnt have the force or the ability to get off our arses and try a relic raid. Having the relic taken back at 4am with 131 or so albs raiding was pretty downheartning. I really felt like giving up playing. But had quite a few people telling me not to.

And when i say things about Hib not getting off our arses to take the relics back all i get is " organise a raid then ". Im no leader, Im a follower not a leader.

The tension in Hib isnt helping atm too. Too much bickering and having a go at each other. The relics are gone. Might as well face it now.
