I would just like to say thank you to all the hibs who came on our trip to midgard tonight, despite all your (well founded) reservations about it not working, I had the full support of you all for trying something different.
It was great to see that turn out from all sides of hib life, for a real whole-realm experience; one of my aims was to provide an inclusive attack where we could all join together.
I take full responsibility for the failure, but I would like to thank especially Llaw Arian and Legends of Camelot for providing distraction attacks throughout the night, and Terra Dominus and Black Dragons for the same during the evening, we couldn't have got as afar as we did without them.
Unfortunately my theory about taking defended relics was completely wrong, but I had a lot of fun trying it.
Some of the good points was the amount of people we can get out when the raid is organised semi openly, we did put the wind up the mids, they spent a lot of time confused in their own frontier, and it seems the projected spies were not in evidence as the relic keep was in fact not defended when we left.
I would also like to apologise to all in CET time, the preparations dragged on a bit, and we got to the relic later than expected, 11:30 GMT rather than 11:00, which was getting late for you guys.
And big grats to the mid GTAOE of death, i had no idea there were so many evil handbag chuckers in middieland.
