Time for me to find something else to become overopinionated on... hmm. How hard it is for ppl with 30 ping to kill those warping 400 pingers maybe? The apparent lack of admins when cheaters are around? I was on the dual duster a while back getting accused of cheating while doing a little scout practice, then someone mentioned there being 4 admins playing at that time. If that was because of my scouting, I'm honoured. If not, I'll practice a bit more, get accused a bit more and have an audience watching me ;-)

Doz you scouting 'expert' - i was playing over the weekend against some guy who kept using a scout. Has the power of the scout increased??? I don't mind getting killed by a scout, scouts are fun!!

BUT.... i was killed 3 times when i was on 100hp and not a headshot. First time i thought wtf?? Second time i got a little pissed off as i had an awp Thrid time i was really annoyed.

I always thought if you got hit by a scout it takes off around 50hp unless it is a headshot where it kills in one. If scouts can now kill in one shot then whats the point in having awps?? Scouts are cheaper, can shoot/reload much faster and you can move faster.

maybe there were 2 guys, both firing at the same time?
personally i prefere the scout to the awp, because its accurate while moving the awp may have power, but its worthless unless your standing still.

Chances of that happening 3 times in the space of a dozen or so rounds is quite slim. 3 lucky shots maybe, not much i can do now.

gah, the scout is the best all rounder by far..
i used to like the sig550, but when they removed the crosshair its awful.

ok, i could just learn to aim without a crosshair, but since it has a huge ammount of recoil there's no real predictability..i do play dod without crosshairs sometimes..but the sniper rifles ther are 100% accurate unzoomed =/

Yeah, I know what you mean - I save a deagle for those close range situations. I just use the rifles (I prefer the T one with 20 rounds) for medium to long range - Ideal for Siege and Assault.

i remeber once killing 3 Ts as they came out of the vent on assault. i was the last CT left, and i had only my sig550...just as i was about to rush in, they came up the vent one by one.

well, i crouched and just fired at point blank range..how i killed all 3 i've no idea..i guess they were pretty dozy..only the last guy actually fired at me...

I had a similar last night - 2 CT's dropped out the vent, into the little room. I let rip with my PSG1, and took both down wth the second shot lol. What a fluke the second guy was.

Not that close - I had just come round the corner when they dropped.
And the awp and scout are different sorts of rifles - much better over longer range. The semi-autos are more like a long-range Aug.

hhmm, the scout is a differant kind of rifle to all 3 of them though..

an awp is best used on a big open map, where ye sit down, and snipe. the scout is good for moving. you can run with it as fast as a knife almost. its accurate while moving. it has a decent fire rate. its nice and quiet(i know some people use custom sounds, but alot of people dont).

the scout is the moving man's rifle.
