If Mythic made all artis quest based you wouldn't have this problem with ppl camping artis just to sell em and earn a bit of profit to buy other artifacts which other ppl have farmed and so on. All this is fine if you have alot of sparetime and alot of toons that are good at farming, but the casual player will be very frustrated and at some point just give up and perhaps quit the game. The way ToA works is just.. shit imho

but by getting a artifact the way it is now is more of a challenge the peopel who have fully toa template's have worked on them and took a while on it too but if it was quest bases it would avoid alot of Arguments. but if it was quest bases everyone on the server would be artifacted up even more than it is now :eek6:

If it was questbased, there would be no reason to farm the artifacts as you could only get one artifact per character. Mind you, it should still be as hard to do the diff. encounters and the droprate should remain the same, so you would have to do the quest several times, till it drops. As it is now, the challenge lies in, how lucky you are to see the encounter up(as it gets farmed alot), or camping the encounter for hours and hours(Golm) cuz its too easy to "farm". The farmers would need to farm scrolls instead to gain the money they want and the cost of scrolls will automatically decrease a bit cuz there will be more scrolls on the market. And yes.. you will see more ppl getting their ToA done, but i cant see anything wrong with that :)

ye good points if the drop rate was like The Lost Seed quest then maybe it would work. :)

Two weeks later from this situation, over a month since i started and still no CS enchounter. My patients is starting to wear thin. Why on earth should it take this long? how is it justified? how would my gaming exeriance not been better if spawn times were degreased to every hour or so? or if enchounters were instanced?

Lots saying its never up these days, maybe it'll change after servers restarted.

Good luck anyhow, i agree though the artifact system does need a rework for certain encounters :/
