tfc new patch....ARRRRRRRR! help

I`ve just updated tfc with the latest patch out today...when i try to connect to a server it says my exe`s out of date and cann`t get auth from won?...wtf!

i`ve tried on sh#t load of servers and it`s all the same..what going on?

In need of urgent help....it`s been 2 hours since my last fix and i`m going through cold turkey...

Either:

A) you have the leaked version of the patch which does not support multiplayer or

B) the server you are trying to connect to has not updated.

My guess is A).


Best wait for the BW ftp to get it and re-install the patch.

The thing i`m concered about is that the patch was reported to be 20megs but all the ones i`ve seen are only 11 something....and i also thought there was suppose to be new maps as well...

http://www.3dfiles.com have the patch but even once you get it you'll suffer B) until BW updates its servers.

THERE was no leaked file, just a beta which a few ppl put on a url for a joke THATS ALL
ITS B the servers are not updated yet

Not that I like to point this out but the LEAKED!!! file ,as it wasn't offical, didn't have proper support for multiplayer....perhaps this link would help http://www.stomped.com/ or the news from the website

Those that are experiencing problems getting authorized after patching your Half-Life may have inadvertently gotten the leaked Half-Life patch from a website that is run by idiots (if you downloaded the patch from a website last night you definitely got the bogus version). Fortunately Valve was nice enough to do something for those people. Symptoms include the "HL Version Out of Date" message. If this is the case for you, you will need to get the 1565KB leak_upgrade.exe. Unfortunately we can't mirror here at Stomped any more so you will have to keep an eye out on other sites or wait for me to mention mirrors here as I spot them. Update You can get it from 3D Gamers.

The patch to correct the leaked version of the update is now available.

I admit i was wrong ( but I was told they sent a few beta versions to a few server by accident, from a friend at valve)but any way there is a fix now and it does work so get it!!!
