Just watching the new version at the mo. Compared to the original Tobe Hooper version it totally sucks. Truly a poor film.

Thank goodness there are still some horror flicks that haven't been remade:

The Evil Dead
Zombie Flesh Eaters

to name but two

Hate this film.. They totally demolished it like a obese dolite and his big mac.

The Hills Have Eyes, the new version.

Most disturbing movie I've seen so far.

This one missed out the part where grandpa sucks the girls finger. Therefore, it sucked.

I enjoyed the remake more than the original - thought the original looked dated even when I watched it 10+yrs ago and I never got why people thought it was scary tbh - the remake where he hangs the dude on the hooks - eeew - lovely :)

The remake of Dawn of the Dead was excellent I thought as well, though Land of the Dead was one of the most disapointing horror films I have seen in years :(

Roll on more horror films and remakes imo !

I thought new one was ok actually, considering how remakes go it was maybe a 6 or 7 ouf of 10.

Agree totally on The Evil Dead, that should never be remade :D

Someone did tell me Zombie Flesh Eaters was being remade... not sure though...

this is quite right but when it was made it probably was scary. also a film doesnt need to be flashy and throwing CGI out of its ass every 5 seconds to be a scary film.

these days everyone is pretty much desenseitised to everything from granny porn to a real life guy getting his throat slashed open infront of some masked dudes. or am i only speaking for my self?
