Tethering and Data Usage

Hi guys, so I downloaded MyWi for my iPhone 4s. Everything works great tethering wise and the connection is fantastic.

One question I have is, when it's enabled and tethering it says that for example.... Down: 1mb Up: 29kbs... And of course rises as I browse more.

Now does this mean that every time the download is going up mb's that it's taking this off my data plan?

So if in one session i use 20mb, my data plan will be 20mb less? Because it rises very quickly and I don't want to use my 1gb of data within the first week.

I only use it for browsing the web etc. no downloading

Yes it does. You are using your Data Allowance. SO you will need to keep a close eye on that figure. That figure may also just be your Tethered data so you would need to keep an eye on your other usage.

Hopefully it will just be my tethered data because it goes up awfully quick and I don't wanna use it all within a few days!

On mywi it said 5mb, so I checked my remaining data allowance and it went down to 1023.5. But i used the web in the car before while waiting for somebody, went on Facebook had a quick look so maybe it was that as well.
