Good Day all,
As some of you may have noticed unfortinely we arent that active as we were the past months/years. Thats because we lack from active people as most of our members are currently innactive due to the summer chick therapy,boringness,online game breaks etc etc. Thus yesterday we decided to open our guild recruitment boards and see if we can make our 'active' numbers as good as they were in the older days.
Few bits for Terra Dominus history:
Terra Dominus was started during the Beta testing for Europe, and was reformed, and officially established on server Exclibur in the first few days of it going live on 15th Feb 2002. It was decided to place the guilds roots in the realm of Hibernia on the Excalibur server. Along with Celtic Fist and Clan Bearhawk, Terra Dominus was one of the first guilds to be formed at retail and was also one of the first to get its emblem created.
Like most, we started out small and quickly grew in numbers as other players got to know us and at peek times we have had a membership of 120 players.
After three and half years of playing, Terra Dominus is still going strong. During this time, we have had our ups and downs, like every guild. We have had our days of glory and fame, but unfortanately, also days of sadness.
One of these sad moments was when one of our original founders, Oggy, lost his fight with cancer. We held a memorial service in Emain that all 3 realms turned out for - a moment where everyone put their petty disputes aside and respected a fellow player, and a great person. Oggy, We hope there would be a /release in real life. You are missed, and never forgotten.
Current stand
We are now known as a friendly and open guild, we are not a hard core RvR guild but that does no mean we do not RvR, likewise; we have been in the top 10 guilds for RvR on the server for a while now. We have many dirverse players in the guild and I think that is what makes us who we are as a guild, some like mob hunts, some like RvR, other like both and we tend to cater for all tastes.
Over the years TD has done well and has grown into a well balanced guild that is respected by our realm and our enemies.
Leaders
The current TD leaders (active) are Dierna,Obs,Hannar with Omega and Brealanna in the background.
Glastonbury
On the 7th December 2005 we created a guild on the classic server Glastonbury fighting for and defending the realm of Albion.
Recruitment Standards
There arent any major requirements either to join the guild except the following :
I. Be active ( though no commitments as we all know irl is tough some times )
II. Know what u play. (dmg shield on nature druid? xD )
III.Respect your guildmates and your realm mates.
IV.Be at least 40+
V.All your chars should be in the guild ( the ones you play. Sorry no lv1 foresters
)
VI.Read every now and then the guild forums as there u can find valuable information on whatever matter u looking , discuss with your guildies.
Guild PvE Assistance
We currently can help/assist in every pve need including completion of artifacts,ml raids ( from ml1-->ml10),quests u name it, however u must play your character.PL beggers this is not the place for j00 ;p
PvP Aspect
Thus we never push anyone to attend on a specific character when it comes to rvr ( except me ;p ) we will never say to do so, however that doesnt mean that u can drag in the guild group your r0gl0rd char. Decent templates are good enough, no need to have the bests around. And in the end of the day we wont say no because u dont have template but u will see on your own that w/o proper template you're dead cookie vs the smelly mids or the pet albs.
Guild colors are a must aswell. Looking all the same is quite kewl!
Ventrilo/TS are a must aswell as it really makes my shouting even more reliable so u must use it /bang
Last but not least - i want to state something to be clear:
Posting that we open our recruitment boards doesnt mean we close the 'house' if none applies as we already got enough numbers to team with and share the fun of this game ( whatever it is ) , it only means that u gonna miss the chance to see the underwear of dierna's char
