got my first assignment temping for an agency tomorrow.. data entry stuff.. just wondering if anyone else done a lot of temping?

is it disruptive or are little blocks of work with gaps between better? dont get bored so easy?

Temping is shit unstable and badly paid work...but you do get paid weekly <o/

Temping is a good way to fill in gaps in other employments, or if you're the sort of person who gets bored fast. Doesn't pay well.

Currently contracting, which is like Temping only with real money.

Having said that, I'm tempted to go back to Marquee putting up over the summer if this contract ends. Really enjoyed that.

i did temping at the factory here that produces all those quorn products you veggies love so much. after seeing it in action, i dont think i could ever eat the stuff.

think it was the best job ive had

my bf had a bloody horrible job when we first met and he hated it, he left that and took a rest for a little while then he went and did temping until he found something he really liked, and it was a great way for him to try lots of new working environments and now he's in a great job which he started off at about two years ago as a temp he loves it and has been taken on FT and promoted etc so if your looking for a way to explore lots of job options without having to put on your resume that you quit all the previous ones this is a really good way to do it

oh and ezteq... next time you at the shops, buy some more commas and full stops coz i think you've ran out

You just made a terrible booboo, please don't tell somebody to improve their usage of punctuation, when said's punctuation sucks. Also, your English and grammar in that sentence could of been used in a much better way.
