I know theres a glut of hib quit posts at the moment (and this will be my second, and last), but I really wanted to post one final time for all you guys that I have spent so many hours of my life with.

From the beginning daoc captured me like nothing I'd ever tried before.. so yea of course I got addicted. Beta was great fun, it introduced me to Tzee, Icebreaker and Nilj amongst others in Hib who have remained my friends since then - "FFS LEAVE THE WISPS MAN" .. Surely good advice.

This time I'm never coming back to Novamir Neither NF or Catacombs excites me in the least.. in fact no prospect of online gaming (not even WoW) takes any precedent in my life having failed the 2nd year of Medicine once and now having to redo it. Failure really puts things into perspective.

I'd like to thank firstly all the people that have made me happy when I've seen their names on my friends list online since i met them. Jozen (swede), G (you ARE cf), Harle (totally the best guy i ever met in daoc!) amadon, lews/jahar, Domain(special guy), Garba(wub), Cuth(we'll play again together one day!), Miss (not quite from day 1 though AheaHAEhahe), Crey, termi (TIRIRIRI LOLOLLO), mati/tyka/don, angara, old NF-crew (nicky,lanv,machi,trapp etc) Shang, sharpo, Alessa (ill never forget you), Odix (i'll trust you no matter what), gia (we seemed to really understand each other in a short time), calaw (wannabe), Loff and sturrm (BIGLOVE) ..

I'd like to thank all the people that I've RvR'ed with.. since Relic Raids stopped being doable with less than a huge zerg 8v8 was the only real fun I had in daoc. you guys i respect and i always had fun fighting alongside you .. Pbuck, knudden, ola, slik, kuca, Eyn/mnd gimpos, reale, fio, gil, stajj, bitte, sabu, roof/moof/athina(wish i had known u guys longer), div, alme, prozze ..

I'd like to also thank all the enemies i have fought against since the start.. and chatted to on irc, and some become really good friends with. cgr, tahn/asha/all of BF, rats+FC, lethul(+old.JH), NP old (Jawz era) and new (stubbe era) crews, Groove, outy and zoy! (excal wouldnt be the same without yous), NETCODE!, gunz .. my biggest regrets of RvR is that I didn't get a chance to fight AD, or some of the best NP groups.

So, basically, thats it for me for daoc, forever. If you ever see Novamir online again, it will not be me. I wanted to make this post because I really feel like its closing a huge chapter. I won't miss 'daoc' - the game as it is now, but i'll miss the competition in emain, the teamwork, and the winning and killing that mythic always seemed to eager to make less and less fair I'm sorry if i left you out and if you know you are special thats coz i just wrote this from start to finish!
Daoc took a huge chunk of my life for a long long time, and whether that is good or bad it happened. I know at least that i've made many good friends. And I got to make a movie which I loved doing. I do sometimes miss it all, but those times are hardly ever now. I cant see myself having time to play WoW until next summer, so I might not end up playing that game either. If you care ;P

best fun i had in this game was the groups with you and domain we ran in summer 2003. actually it was always fun with you in group (except the one time you went afk for 30 mins again and Gunner dinged rr10 on me :touch: - I will never forget that!)

One of my best memories of DAoC is meeting the evil hero alone in emain, running to hug & kiss him (half expecting to be ganked) only to have Veesh (the _REAL_ ONE!) blow your ass up hahaha.... It was like a kodak moment til the nukes started ^^

I would even put that before the time I found Wurren alone and ganked him with my rejuv cleric!

I am sure I'll see ya in irc. I hope you can stay away from WoW, UK needs some cute funny docs
