Its a dwarf rhino though which is about the size of a pig, do they even have horns? Very small stubby legs too so doubt it could get any real speed up unless you rolled it down a hill Also doesn't silk have some nifty non impact tearing abilities? The Mongolians wore silk shirts so they could just "pop" arrows out. Is the silk stretched ultra tight or does it have a little give in it?
