Technical Problems

This thread is designed to highlight problems and solve them if at all possible.

My problems so far:

1. I find that sometimes the sound crackles when playing the game, esp during warp etc. I need to quit and restart the game to stop it.

2. I lose all graphics apart from the mouse cursor, pressing Escape brings up options screen but I have to quit and restart to get the graphics to reappear.

i got crackly sound on an SB live but i think its just my mo/bo cos its happend in all games with any sound card ive had. also the memory leak where all the sounds go off altogether.

Yes I get the crackely sound too using onboard nforce2 soundstorm sound. Seems to stop and start on its own so I just turn down the volume when it kicks in.
